In order to raise our awareness of environmental protection, our school organized a tree-planting activity in a nearby community on Arbor Day.
As scheduled, we gathered at the school gate at 8:00 am and headed for the destination on foot. The moment we got there, we were divided into three groups. With each group assigned its own task, every student took an active part in it. At the end of the activity, we took a group picture together before we left. Tired as we were, we were in high spirits.
The activity is both rewarding and meaningful. Not only does it enrich our school life, but also has a positive effect on the environment. 为了提高我们的环保意识，我们学校在植树节那天在附近的社区组织了一次植树活动。按照约定，我们于上午8点在校门口集合，步行前往目的地。我们一到那里就被分成三组。每一组都有自己的任务，每个学生都积极参加。活动结束的时候，我们一起拍了张合影。我们虽然很累，但精神高涨。 这个活动既有益又有意义。它不仅丰富了我们的学校生活，而且对环境也有积极的影响。
